Postage issues are FIXED!!!

I have fabulous news! Our postage issues are now fixed so it is all back up and running in our checkout! As i know this has caused some confusion and disruption I am offering 15% off all orders until May 4th.

I have also been working on a lot of new things mainly baby shower invitations.
I am very disappointed that I didnt get to make a mothers day range of cards :( things have been very hectic around here and waiting on money for quite a number of orders so everything at a little bit of a standstill.

We are steadily reaching our goal for our Autism Awareness fundraiser which a percentage of all orders donates to (the percentage depends on the amount spent)

Well I think that is all for tonight.
Goodnight xx

Tips for DIY invitations on a budget!

Most importantly keep it simple! Usually the more detail equals a greater cost.

Shop online! Instead of going to scrapbooking stores find a website that makes invitations such as mine that are happy to sell materials and card cut to size so then you don't have to buy a cutter or waste card if not experienced. (I will happily sell materials upon being asked!)

If for any reason you can;t shop online check out shops such as spotlight who have bargain bins usually with packets of beads and other craft items for a couple of dollars and you will only need a few packs if keeping it simple.

HOW TO KEEP IT SIMPLE BUT LOOKING GOOD

Only have one or two items for decorations such as -
* Lace and ribbon
* Ribbon and a button (with the right button, buttons look great!)
* Type you initials in a large size and have a tube of glittery paint available from spotlight in a squeeze bottle in the paint section for less than $5 for a decent sized bottle
* Bargain bin beads arranged in the corner (pic of this style to come!)

Having an informal wedding? There are some great websites out there where you can create animated invitations online and send them to guests via email, here is one i made:
Click to play this Smilebox invite: Invitation sample
Create your own invite - Powered by Smilebox
Free invite customized with Smilebox
You can also pay a small cost for extras such as removing ads, adding music ect

Make your own stencils! It's easier than it sounds (tutorial coming very soon!)

Always need envelopes right? Try buying bulk from places such as office works you can save yourself a fortune and they offer delivery!

Thank you and have fun!

Our Autism fundraiser

From today until August 10th 2010 I am doing a charity fundraiser to raise money for people with Autism and there families. My goal by this date is $400 and will come from peoples generosity as well as a percentage of all orders from CeeBee Designs.
The percentages are as follows (excludes postage costs):

$20 and under = 10%
$21-$65 = 15%
$66 and above = 20%

This is a huge contribuation for a cause i am passionate about. For example if you spent $150 at CeeBee Designs on any range of our products we will donate $30 to our cause!!

Any order or donation no matter how small will make the world of difference and I am very excited to be taking part in this. So please help us by spreading the word about us, the more orders we get the more of a difference we make. Don't forget about our custom orders if there is nothing you like on our site but want to take advantage of our fundraiser simply email me by clicking the button saying email me to discuss a design you would like!
I will also be working like crazy to come up with more designs and more products to help this cause too!

Feb 14th some of our new products will be revealed there are a lot more to come throughout the year. This year is looking like the most exciting, promising adventure yet!
Thank you everybody for your support!

Last orders

As Valentines day is approaching quickly all orders made from NOW will be sent by express post which is more expensive but to get there in time this is needed! Postage cost will be $4.50 which is exactly what Aus Post charge me so I am making no money on postage what so ever, please go to http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/aus_letter_select.asp and select C6 in size, under 50g, lodgement postcode 3350 and enter your postcode to find out if you are within the next day delivery area before ordering. The cut off for Valentines day orders is tonight at 8.30pm any orders after that are not guaranteed delivery before Valentines day and payments for cards are now paypal only because if i have to wait for a bank transfer you will definitely not get your card in time.

Have a very special Valentines day xx
